Thank you for your interest in my animal portraits.

I will create a special portrait of your best friend that will be cherished for years to come.

I'm interested not only the image, but the personality and the spirit of your pet. To do this I need a variety of photographs as guides and a brief description of your pet's personality.

Working with soft pastels on coloured paper, I'm drawing from photographs (mostly of head and shoulders preferably taken with a telephoto lens), by you or a professional photographer (such an example below).

If you prefer a painting of the whole animal I need a photo that shows character, getting as close as possible to fill the whole frame in either case. The more detail I can see the better. Your photos will be returned with your portrait.
